Tycho
Ride the Moonbus up from Clavius Base and across 482 km of the Moon to the TMA-1 dig in Tycho crater, as in 2001: A Space Odyssey. The ground is simulated from real NASA data: the Moon's actual terrain, measured from orbit by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and, over the two craters, Japan's SELENE. The autopilot flies the hop; you take over above Tycho's rim and land on the camp's pad before dawn.
